Ron and Lura Robinson started Raggs from their own sno-cone stand in 1990 located in Keller, Texas.  They had made their own block ice and syrups and one day a local sno-cone stand ran out of ice and asked to buy some from Ron and so he sold his first blocks.  Not long after that word got around and more and more sno-cone stands came to Ron for ice.  They had also made Fresh Fruit Jubilees to capture the adult audience not just the kids.  Therefore, other sno-cone stands wanted a piece of the ice as well and started buying flavors from Ron and Lura.  As the sno-cone industry started spreading like wildfire in the metroplex their business moved from a mixing tub and paddle to an industrial mixing tank.  Ron and Lura cater to many needs of area sno-cone stands as well as starting to spread nationwide as word of mouth has been their biggest advertisement.  As their customers would come in and ask, " Do you have...." they have met many needs so that answer was never "No".  Ron and Lura along with some help from others has come up with many different combinations to create cutting edge flavors for kids such as Ninja Turtle, Spongebob, Spiderman, Barbie, Napoleon Dynamite and many more.  Raggs still makes and sell their Ready To Use syrups with cane sugar.
